PAPER CUTTING
Start with a cultural sampling of paper cutting traditions around the world, or choose just one part of it or a specific culture or celebration. Then make a paper cut using just paper, scissors, and glue, exercise important small motor skills, the concept of positive and negative space, and the almost-lost arts of cutting and glue.
Our most popular activity focus is on paper cutting traditions for Cinco de Mayo and Day of the Dead, Lunar New Year, and Mid-Autumn Festival activities, but focusing on other cultural symbols and designs are possible.
